As an Independent Servicing and Repair Centre we are able to select your service and repair items from the worlds best known brand names. This ensures that your vehicle is always serviced and repaired with original equipment specification parts and lubricants.
Having your vehicle serviced is very important to keep it in tune and ensure reliability throughout it's working life. Worn spark plugs, blocked filters and poor quality oil can have a big effect on your engines performance and economy. At Lynchford Service Centre we carry out servicing to manufacturers specifications and beyond using high quality components and lubricants.
What service items are changed and when ?
This is dependant on the type of service requested by the customer and the manufacturers service schedule for the mileage covered. With every service we replace the engine oil and filter which is vital to the longevity of your engine. We use Premium Grade engine oils which have a very high breakdown period to ensure that it continues to lubricate your engine correctly long past its advised replacement mileage.
When should I have my vehicle serviced ?
With the extended service intervals introduced by some manufacturers such as 2 years or 20,000 miles there is a danger that potential faults may be not be noticed until it is too late. We strongly advise that you check your oil level at frequent intervals as a low oil level can seriously damage your engine. We also advise our customers to have an oil service at 12 months or 10,000 miles (which ever comes first) if they have an extended service interval vehicle.
Will my warranty still be valid ?
With changes to European Legislation during 2003, you can now have your new vehicle serviced by an independent garage, this will not invalidate your manufacturers 1, 2 or 3 year warranty
